The traditional office paradigm is shifting. With the recent emergence of “working from home” as a standard, and modern women pursuing more flexible careers or workplace arrangements, many of us are seeking a new daily routine that will best fit our lifestyle.

I work as a Territory Account Manager for a global tech company, and I have been working from home for over a year and a half now. You can find me occasionally working in my pajamas, going for a beach walk, or doing miscellaneous household chores on a dull workday.

I’ll be the first to admit that the WFH lifestyle definitely has its perks, but as the novelty wears off and the loneliness sets in, I am grateful that I have found an amazing local co-working space dedicated to women like me called The Collective Co. in North Scituate.

Because of their flexible membership options (that I will review below), I have a welcoming space that I can utilize a couple of days per week to get my work done. There’s definitely something to be said about putting on real clothes, getting out of the house, and surrounding yourself with like-minded women!

What is a Co-Working Space?

A co-working space is a shared office space that is designed to provide a productive and collaborative environment for its dynamic inhabitants, free of the corporate constraints on what is perceived to be an “office” environment.

Membership Options

The Collective Co. has various membership options to meet your individual work style & needs, including a Community Membership, a Part-time Membership, and a Full-Time Membership. Any of these options give you access to the beautiful space depicted here, as well as the slew of amenities I will mention later.

Community Membership

For someone who only wants a few days per month in the workspace, this “weekly” membership offers access to the space 4 days per month to be used whichever days you need during the week. This membership also includes 2 hours of meeting room access per month.

Part-time Membership

For someone who would like to use the space 2-3 days per week, the part-time membership offers access to the space 10 days/month. This membership includes 5 hours of meeting room access per month.

Full-Time Membership

For someone who is looking for utilize the space Monday-Friday from 8:30AM-5:30PM, the full-time membership will give you unlimited access! This membership includes 8 hours of meeting room access per month.
