Prepared Meal Delivery Services
Between working from home and various restrictions over the last year, we have been at home a lot more lately. Because of this, planning meals, cooking, and washing dishes multiple times per day seems to have become a second full-time job.
There are only so many nights per week that we can make ourselves cook dinner after a long work day before reaching for unhealthy and costly take-out or restaurant options. This is why we have turned to using food delivery services, and we couldn’t recommend them more!
Having prepared food delivered right to your door on a weekly basis is a godsend. Not only does it save us time cooking, but it also relieves the stress of having to plan meals, buy ingredients, clean pots & pans, and the risk of our meals not coming out quite right (let’s face it, we aren’t all professional chefs).

Feast & Fettle
Last week I got to try Feast & Fettle, a Providence-based gourmet meal delivery service that just launched its South Shore operation! Feast & Fettle delivers gourmet meals freshly prepared by professional chefs on a weekly basis. All ingredients are handpicked from local suppliers and organic and natural options are used when available.
Something that I found unique about Feast & Fettle compared to other services that we have tried, is that they let you choose entrees and sides separately. This allows you to create your own perfect meal!
If your husband has a favorite entree, your child is a picky eater, and you just want everyone to be fed, Feast & Fettle will be your best friend. This weekly service will help to give you your life back, and ensure that you have a healthy meal ready to go for you and your family every night of the week.
Menu options will change every week to give you a good variety of weekly meals, and options will always include vegetarian choices and allergens lists. Plan options include meals for one, two, or four people, and the choice of two, three, or four entrees per week.

Our Experience with Feast & Fettle
As I have mentioned, I highly recommend prepared meal delivery services, and our experience with Feast & Fettle was flawless.
The delivery arrived promptly on the date that was arranged, and the meals came delivered in a cooler bag with ice packs. All meals are always fresh and ready to eat (never frozen), and are made to last in your fridge for about five days.
We got four entrees and six sides. There wasn’t one dish that I didn’t like, and the variety was perfect to mix & match for almost a week’s worth of meals for my boyfriend and me. It was great to have meal options at home that we wouldn’t normally cook for ourselves, like steak or shrimp.
All meals come with oven & microwave heating instructions and are ready to eat in minutes!
When using Feast & Fettle, we got to spend our evenings relaxing, finishing up work, or taking neighborhood walks instead of the cooking and cleaning that would have been inevitable without the service.

And if you’re looking to get out of the house for the one night of the week that Feast & Fettle isn’t providing your meal, try one of our go-to South Shore restaurants!
