The holiday countdown has officially begun! I put together a list of a few fun things that you can do to prepare – including some discount codes! The holidays will undoubtedly feel different this year, and most likely will be celebrated in smaller groups, but let’s make it count by starting some new traditions and wearing cozy Christmas sweaters at home!
Stay comfy, stay home, and have fun!

In some ways, 2020 may not have been a year to celebrate or showcase, but I’m sure you spent a lot more time with your family than you are used to! Dig up a picture from your favorite “quarantine adventure”, or snap one today on your couch, that will really embody the time you spent with your loved ones this year.
2. Plan your cozy Christmas attire!
They also have adorable options for kids!
3. This one is new – Buy a Christmas mask!
Although wearing face masks is new this holiday season, and may not be ideal, use your masks to turn into your favorite holiday characters! Get one for every family member – they come in Adult & Kids sizes!
This will make mask wearing fun!
4. Make Santa’s Visit a fun family Activity!
Many of you most likely already leave Santa milk & cookies, but let’s make it more personal with custom-made trays! These trays indicate a spot of Santa’s milk, cookies, and even a treat for Rudolph! Most importantly, they can be customized to include your children’s names or your family name! This way Santa will know who left him the goodies, and your children will love setting up the tray!
5. Start a New Tradition!
This was originally a German tradition, but my family has been doing it since I was a kid, and my sister and I loved it!! The pickle ornament!
Before Christmas Day, buy an extra present that anyone in your family will like and hide a pickle ornament deep in your tree (not visible). On Christmas morning, whichever child finds the pickle ornament first, gets the extra present!
In my family, it wasn’t something that we discussed or were reminded of. With the excitement of Christmas morning, it often gets forgotten, until my sister or I remembered and discreetly started looking in the tree to find the pickle first before the other one noticed.
This is such a fun tradition, and I can’t wait to pass on to my children one day!
And most importantly – ENJOY THE HOLIDAYS!! 2020 is a year we will remember for the rest of our lives, and cherish the time you have with your family while head into the bright future of 2021 and beyond!
